The Regular Quarterly Meeting of the Board of Directors of the Potter-Tioga Library
System was called to order by President Jeff Wilkinson at 7 PM.

System Librarian: Laurie Shear

After introductions, Lynne Coolidge moved the Minutes of the January 6, 2007,
Quarterly Meeting be approved as presented, seconded by Charlotte Bitler and carried.

System Librarian’s Report:
-Circulation statistics for the 3rd and 4th quarters were reviewed.
-2007 Financial reports were circulated and reviewed.
-All Librarian's state reports are in but some audits and financial reviews
are not.
-The Governor's 2008 library budget includes a .3% raise at this time, but
hopefully that will be increased. (The formula would not be able to be used at this rate.)
-Five system libraries are completing their LSTA grant requirements and are
ahead of schedule with the automation changeovers.
-A $2,500 grant from Senator Scarnati's office for each Potter County
library and the System office was announced. Carol Tama's motion that Laurie be allowed to use her $2,500 for office equipment was seconded by Lynne Coolidge and carried.
-A meeting with the Tioga County Commissioners will be scheduled in July at
which time Karen Temple, District Development Director, may also be present.

News from member libraries was shared.

The next meeting of the Board will be at the Elkland Public Library, July 10, 2007, at 7 PM.
