The Regular Quarterly Meeting of the Board of Directors of the Potter-Tioga Library System was called to order by President Jeff Wilkinson at 10 AM.

After introductions, the Minutes of the October 9, 2007, meeting were approved as presented.

Election of Officers: Carol Tama moved that the incumbent officers be
re-elected--Jeff Wilkinson, President; Elery Walizer, Vice President; Eugene Seelye, Secretary; Charlotte Bitler, Treasurer. Lynne Coolidge seconded the motion and it carried.

A Five Year Plan (2008-2013) for the Potter-Tioga Library System was discussed. After reviewing several items it was agreed to finalize the plan at a future meeting.

Librarian’s Report:
-Circulation statistics for the 3rd quarter, 2007 were reviewed.
-Financial summaries to date were reviewed
-In 2008, Potter County will receive $118,540 in State Aid and Tioga County will receive $221,225. Potter County will receive $40,000 in County Aid and Tioga County will receive $75,000. A percentage of the 2008 State Aid has been distributed.
-Dates for Trustee Institute meetings were announced as being April 11 & 12 in the Pittsburgh area and April 25 & 26 in the Harrisburg area. Members were
encouraged to attend.
-Discussed were terms of office for Board members from Potter County.
-All system libraries do Financial Reviews in 2008 except for Green Free which does an Audit.

News from member libraries was shared.

The next meeting of the Board will be at the Mansfield Free Public Library, Mansfield, April 8, 2008, at 7 PM.

Refreshments were enjoyed by attendees.
